Meet and have workshops from people who already have career in MC'ing , DJ'ing, breakin' and graffity - hear the stories, tips and get the inspiration!
Have fun!
Everybody are welcome to join project event on 21st of August in 5th building of VEF factory (VEF fabrika 5. korpuss)! See some Breakin', some Graffiti, some DJ'ing and some MC'ing!!!

5TH INTERNATIONAL STREETDANCE FESTIVAL “BREIKBUMAS 2009”

Presentation. Festival “Breikbumas 2009” is an event for young dancers and dance groups who perform streetdance. This festival is a great chance to introduce yourself not only to the Lithuanian streetdancers, but also to dancers from other countries. The programme of this festival involves streetdance shows and open breakdance competitions.
Participants. All streetdancers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Belarus are invited. Event is open for dancers of all streetdance styles. There will be prizes for the nominees of “The best streetdance show” and in each category of breakdance. Registration till 1st of March - for registration send information that is available in Registration form by email.
Places and dates. Festival will be held March 13-14 in Alytus (Lithuania). The first day is designated for breakdance selections for the Final Round which will take place 2nd day in the night club “Voro fortas” (Pramones Str. 1). Registration will start at 16:00 and finish at 17:00. Competition will start 17:00 and finish at 20:00. On the second day, 14th of March, streetdance shows and finals of breakdance competition will take place in the “Jaunimo centras” (Tvirtoves Str. 3, “Alytus Centre of youth”; there , is a glassbuilding and gas station “Statoil” in front of it). Registration begins at 12:00, and the event starts at 14:00 and finishes at 18:30. After this, an afterparty event in the same building of night club of “Voro fortas” will be organized. .It will begin at 21:00 and finish in the morning. Participants of streetdance show category will compete for the name of the best show in this festival, so you will get extra time to try the scene before the start of this event; your show should take no longer than 5 minutes, a group shall include up to 20 members.

Judges. Judges committee will be composed of representatives from different countries.

Fees.This year we are establishing a fund for participants: breakdance category participant fee per person – 20 Lt (6 €;, for extra category - 5 Lt (2€), streetdance show category participants per person - 10 Lt (3€).

Acommodation. We offer to stay in the student house. It costs 15-25 Lt/7,5€ per night for one person.
